Healing Your Spine Through Regenerative Medicine with Dr. Gregory Lutz

Ep. 174

Did you know that back problems are the most common musculoskeletal conditions that cause pain/disability worldwide? The number of people who suffer from chronic back pain is immense and it’s something that can be debilitating. One emerging solution that has shown promising results when it comes to fixing the source of back pain is platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections. PRP is considered a form of regenerative medicine, which focuses on healing and restoring to full-function, tissues and organs that have been damaged by age, disease, or defects.

Today’s guest, Dr. Gregory Lutz, is a physiatrist and founder of Regenerative SportsCare Institute. He is also the author of the recently released, Amazon best-seller, “Heal Your Disc, End Your Pain: How Regenerative Medicine Can Save Your Spine”, in which he details his groundbreaking work and research in treating patients with chronic back pain without drugs or surgery. Dr. Lutz’s methods involve intradiscal PRP injections and have yielded incredible results with his patients. In this episode, Dr. Lutz talks about his journey into regenerative medicine before taking us on a deeper dive into PRP treatment, how it works, and what results he’s seen from it. He also talks about his book, regenerative medicine as a whole, and what advice he has for those looking to try it.
