Midnight, On Earth
Episode 251 - Decisions: What They Are and How to Make Them w/ Manly P. Hall
In this episode, I listen to a rare and profound lecture by one of the greatest esoteric teachers of the 20th century—Manly P. Hall. Recorded on August 8, 1964 and titled 'Developing the Skills to Make Decisions', this timeless talk explores the metaphysical mechanics behind our choices, the energetic signature of decision-making, and how even the smallest decision echoes into the greater fabric of reality.
Hall’s multidimensional breakdown reveals that every decision is more than just a choice—it’s an act of creative power. He unpacks how our conscious and unconscious intentions shape outcomes, influence karma, and shift the direction of our life path. He also talks about decision as a clarifier, he helps us understand how to align our decisions with higher principles, cultivating a life that resonates with truth and meaning.
Join me as we travel back in time to absorb the wisdom of a true master, whose words still guide seekers on the path of awakening.

Manly P. Hall Bio:
Manly Palmer Hall (March 18, 1901 – August 29, 1990) was a renowned philosopher, author, and mystic who delved deeply into esoteric traditions and spiritual knowledge. Born in Peterborough, Ontario, Hall moved to the United States at a young age and soon became a prominent lecturer on occult and metaphysical topics. His curiosity and passion for ancient wisdom culminated in the publication of *The Secret Teachings of All Ages* in 1928, a monumental work that explores the symbolic meanings behind myths, religions, alchemy, mysticism, and secret societies.
Hall's ability to synthesize complex spiritual ideas from diverse traditions made him a unique figure in the 20th-century spiritual landscape. Over his lifetime, he authored more than 150 books and delivered over 8,000 lectures. His teachings spanned subjects such as Hermeticism, Rosicrucianism, astrology, comparative religion, and the symbolism found in sacred texts.
In 1934, Hall founded the Philosophical Research Society (PRS) in Los Angeles, a center dedicated to the study of philosophy, comparative religion, and personal development. The PRS continues to preserve his vast collection of manuscripts and teachings.
Hall's work has had a lasting impact on those seeking spiritual growth, often serving as a bridge between modern spiritual seekers and ancient wisdom traditions. Despite passing away in 1990 under mysterious circumstances, Hall's influence remains significant among students of esoteric and philosophical studies.

Chris shares his perspective on reincarnation, karma, past-life healing, somatic channeling, and the work of “polishing the inner diamond” we each carry within us.At the heart of our conversation is the idea of soul wisdom—the understanding we gain when we fully move through life’s challenges rather than simply avoiding or surviving them. Chris explains how grief, trauma, loss, and upheaval can become what he calls sacred calamities, creating opportunities to develop deeper awareness, resilience, compassion, and connection with the soul. Over time, that accumulated wisdom can become a form of soul genius, helping us navigate life with greater clarity and purpose. We also discuss free will, pre-life planning, the importance of trusted allies during our darkest moments, and how adversity can become part of a much larger spiritual journey. 01:06:09||Ep. 307In this episode, we dive into another rare lecture and sit with the timeless wisdom of Ram Dass... With his unmistakable warmth, humor, and honesty, Ram Dass explores what it means to grow older within a culture that often fears aging and avoids the reality of death. Through deeply personal stories and reflections, he invites us to look beyond the changing body, the roles we play, and the identities we have accumulated—and to recognize the part of ourselves that remains present, aware, and untouched by time. This lecture is not simply about aging or dying. It is about learning how to live more authentically while we are here. Ram Dass challenges us to examine the “suit” we have been given in this lifetime without confusing it for who we truly are. He reminds us that beneath our fears, expectations, and attachments exists a deeper awareness rooted in love, compassion, humor, and presence. As we listen together, we consider our own relationship with impermanence, identity, and the inevitable transformations of life. What does it mean to age consciously? How can the awareness of death help us become more fully alive? And what becomes possible when we stop resisting change and simply allow ourselves to be who we are now? This lecture was recorded at the Omega Institute in 1995.www.ramdass.orgRam Dass Bio:Ram Dass was an American spiritual teacher, psychologist, and author who helped introduce Eastern philosophy and meditation to a wide Western audience. 301. Episode 301 - Afterlife Communication & Channeled Music w/ Marcie Dean
01:19:58||Ep. 301In this episode, I sit down with Marcie Dean to explore sound as a bridge between worlds, and the possibility that music can carry more than emotion. Through her work with LovEvolve Music, Marcie approaches sound as a living frequency field — one that can hold messages, memory, healing, consciousness, and connection to the unseen. At the heart of Marcie’s story is her late partner, Jon, who passed away heroically while saving his son from a rip current. Before his death, Jon had promised that if anything ever happened to him, he would communicate with her through music — and after his passing, Marcie says that promise began unfolding in ways she could have never imagined.Together, we dive into her process of working with frequencies beyond normal human hearing and bringing them into the audible range, where she describes hearing voices and messages from the other side. This opens up a deeper conversation about Electronic Voice Phenomena, spirit communication, intuitive creation, and the idea that sound may be one of the most direct ways consciousness speaks through the veil.We also explore music as medicine: how certain frequencies can help regulate the nervous system, move grief through the body, activate deeper awareness, and reconnect us with the parts of ourselves buried beneath survival mode. This is a conversation about sound as spiritual technology, love beyond death, grief as initiation, and the possibility that the unseen world may not be silent at all.www.eletricblueunited.com , www.lovevolvemusic.comMarcie Dean Bio:Marcie Dean is a sound channel, intuitive creator, and founder of Electric Blue Communications and LovEvolve Music. Through this process, she has created more than 400 genre-bending soundscapes that she calls “medicine,” designed to activate consciousness, support healing, and help listeners access deeper layers of awareness. Her work through LovEvolve Music has become what she describes as an “inter-dimensional band,” a collaboration between herself, Jon, and the light beings she feels moving through the music. After leaving behind a 20-year corporate career and investing everything into this vision, Marcie now shares her story as one of grief, surrender, spiritual communication, and the power of sound as a bridge between worlds. Her mission is to help others remember that love continues, consciousness expands, and music can become a doorway to the unseen.
300. Episode 300 - The Concept of Heaven in Human Consciousness and History w/ Tobias Churton
01:25:37||Ep. 300In this episode, I welcome back prolific author, scholar, and returning guest Tobias Churton to discuss his latest book, Celestial Realms: A History of Heaven since before the Dawn of Time. Together, we explore one of the oldest and most universal questions humanity has ever asked: what is Heaven? Is it a place we go after death, a reward for spiritual virtue, the realm of the gods, a dimension of consciousness, or something already present within us? Drawing from Tobias’s vast historical and esoteric research, we travel through the heavenly visions of ancient Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece, the Abrahamic traditions, Eastern mysticism, Indigenous cultures, Polynesian and Aboriginal cosmologies, Renaissance alchemy, spiritualism, psychedelics, art, music, and modern philosophy. This conversation moves far beyond the simple idea of Heaven as a distant paradise. We look at Heaven as a living symbol, a spiritual need, a map of the soul, and perhaps even a state of being that humanity has been trying to remember since the beginning of time. Tobias brings his signature depth, humor, and poetic scholarship to a subject that touches every culture, every religion, and every person who has ever wondered what lies beyond this life; or what might be waiting within it.
