Steve kicked off our new series A Generous Life, by reminding us that generosity begins with God. He doesn’t ask for what we haven’t been given—He invites us to respond to His grace. In Christ, we see a God who gives abundantly, and we’re invited to reflect that generosity with joyful, thankful hearts.

We had the privilege of hearing Sydney preach and had the joy of baptising 21 people across our two meetings. We had the privilege to hear their testimonies and the hearing of how their lives are transformed through Jesus.

We had the joy of having Mick Taylor continue our Romans series, showing how understanding God’s promises brings strength. God keeps His word—His purposes are unstoppable. Mick reminded us that salvation involves both God’s choice and our response. We’re called to respond with thankfulness, humility and confidence, living with radical love that helps others find Jesus.

Steve continued our Romans series in 9:30–10:21, reminding us that salvation is by faith, not performance. We can stop striving and start trusting in Jesus. In response, we’re invited to receive God’s promise of salvation, place our lives in His hands and become people who share the gospel with others.

Christopher continued our Romans series in 9:1–29, unpacking how the gospel reshapes our view of God’s promises. Even when it’s hard to understand, Paul reminds us that God’s promises never fail—they’re built on grace, not effort, and reveal His mercy, power, and deep purpose in saving people.

Steve continued our Romans series in chapter 8, reminding us that present suffering is real, but it doesn’t compare to the future glory that awaits. God is with us in our pain, working for our good, shaping us to be like Jesus—and nothing can separate us from His love.

Christopher continued our Romans series looking at Romans 8:1–17. The Holy Spirit is the game-changer who makes transformation possible. We’ve been set free from shame, given a new mindset, power to overcome sin, and brought into close relationship with God as our loving Father.

James continued our Romans series by unpacking Romans 7. He explored the tension we all face between wanting to do good and falling short—but reminded us that our failure isn't the end of the story. In Jesus, we’re not left in defeat. Though the law reveals our struggle, grace points us to our Savior. We can live with hope, knowing that even in the battle, Christ is our rescue and strength.

Steve continued our Romans series, unpacking Romans 6 and asking, "Does God’s grace give me a free pass to sin?" He showed that in Jesus, our old self has died, and we’ve been raised to a new life. Grace doesn’t give us a free pass to sin—it empowers us to live in freedom, offering every part of ourselves to God
