Even though Joseph had power and success in Egypt, God was at work—bringing conviction, repentance, and restoration to his family.We were reminded that God disciplines His children not to harm us, but to shape our hearts for our good and His glory. Through it all, Joseph’s story points us to Jesus, who took our punishment so that we can receive God’s transforming love and grow in righteousness and peace.

45:23|Steve continued our God Meant It For Good series by looking at Genesis 39 and the reality of disappointment. We were reminded that faithfulness to God doesn’t protect us from disappointment, but it does guarantee God’s presence within it. Joseph’s story points us to Jesus, who steps into our suffering and invites us to trust the Father, even when we have to pray, “Not my will, but yours.”
