VGMP: Videogame Movie Podcast

A short CGI spin off of the game Sonic Unleashed, this sees Sonic haunted by a duo of spirits who are competing to win the affections of a lady ghost by seeing who can scare Sonic the most. 

Produced by Capcom for release in Japan, Dead Rising: The Movie presents a new chapter in the developers second biggest zombie horror series. This low budget film may be lacking in budget but it makes up for it with plenty of whacky characters and inventive zombie action. Does it make for as enjoyable a movie as it does a videogame though?

Produced as a CGI Arcade experience in Japan in the late 1990s, Resident Evil 4-D Executer is a lost piece of Resident Evil Media that Jamie has wanted to see for a very long time. Finally, as part of VGMP, Jamie has has a chance to see it. Was it worth the wait? Tune in to find out...

You have once again entered the world of terrible videogame adaptations. We're stepping back into the so-called Andersonverse in this episode of VGMP as we look at the third entry in Paul W.S. Anderson's Resident Evil series, it's Max Max with a RE skin; it's time to review Resident Evil: Extinction. 

Once again we're back with the Resident Evil franchise, this time reviewing a short proof-of-concept film that was made as a teaser for a proposed police procedural set in the Resident Evil universe. The show wasn't picked up in the end and now Jamie and Rory will review the short to determine whether that was a good decision or not!

The iconic PlayStation treasure-hunting franchise comes to cinema screens in "Unchartered." Starring Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg, the film was controversial on release as fans felt the two male leads had been terribly miscast. With little experience of the game franchise however, what will Jamie and Rory think?This episode also includes the now infamous cats vs dogs argument between our two hosts!

A short film from director Neil Blomkamp (District 9, Chappie, Gran Turismo) promoting the Halo franchise. There was talk of this potentially leading to Blomkamp helming a Halo feature but it never materialised.
