We wound down 2021 and Season 7 with this one-a chat with an ACXTUAL podcasting legend! Not a too-technical chat, really...more fun than anything...have a listen-you'll learn something, I promise!________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________It was such a pleasure to speak to an actual member of the Podcasting Hall of Fame. I don't think I could ever be inducted, because it would be followed with a few asterisks and a disclaimer of, "After a few beers, it seemed like a good idea." But Dave Jackson is truly a guy who gets this medium, and has guided so many folks on their way to podcasting success. If you're a regular listener, or a new one, and you're wondering what it takes to do this ( and trust me, it's not easy or instantly profitable), have a listen to Dave's podcast, and/or visit his website. You'll learn a lot more than you'd expect. My favorite lesson: your episode will sound WAY better once you click "Record". (Okay, I'm a slow learner...) Without a doubt, Joe is one of THE NICEST podcasters I've had the pleasure to interview. Plus, we were having so much fun with this, as he wanted to promote his book,too. So hard to update you with THIS guy's latest news! I'm sure since our interview, he's been involved in SCADS (scads?) of projects! One of my favorite "re-visit" episodes! Lindsay is a super nice person, who although might not be bringing out any new podcast episodes, has been contributing to a lot of psychological articles in various publications these days. Really interesting stuff...just like this episode!_________________________________________________________________________________________In the short time I've gotten to know this lady, she has become one of my favorite people. And what, you might ask, does that accomplish? A major discount on restraining orders, of course! Between the fun we had with our first interview, to helping me with a powerful, heart-warming interview with David Ogman a while back, to texting me her bikini model pictures ( She really didn't do that.I'm just wondering who reads my show notes.) She is truly a force to be reckoned with. We probably spoke about 40 minutes before and after the interview. I'm lucky she doesn't bill my insurance.
