The Sherpa Screening Room: Talent Agent Dr. Albert Bramante!
31:50||Season 14, Ep. 8Thanks so much to Dr. Bramante for this interview! You can follow him on social media for more pointers or buy his book (see below), but I think this interview really lays groundwork for aspiring actors...or even folks venturing out into a new career, don't you think? Sherpa Selects:Jared Easley ("Starve the Doubts")!
45:08||Season 4, Ep. 11"Starve the Doubts" can STILL be found on your favorite podcast apps, with over 400 episodes, and I believe that Jared is still involved with Podcast Movement (although they're no longer ragers at his house...) Have a listen to this episode from 2020...and tell me what was YOUR first concert?________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________I got to know alot about Jared in our cross-promotion interviews, and had a great time collaborating with him. He's got a lot of both interesting and inspiring stories on "Starve The Doubts". It's certainly worth checking out for a good lift, lesson, and a laugh. I really admire how he can take his topics and use them for inspiration. He likes to see the world succeed. Incidentally, the night we spoke, he was teaching his daughter to ride a bicycle. Today, she's a BMX racer! (Umm, ok, she's not, really. But talk about an exciting follow up!) The Sherpa Screening Room: Adventure Illusionist Rich Manley!
27:34||Season 14, Ep. 7I'm not one to leave "inside jokes" in my interviews, so just for reference; 1. "Beautiful Downtown Burbank" was referenced in the 1960's/'70's tv show, "Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In" which aired YEARS before Rich was born; and 2, I opened the wrong video application to record the interview, but luckily, Rich appeared...like magic! So, speaking pf magic, be sure to check out Rich's show on Tubi, "Culture Shock". where you will see much magic, and of course, be amazed. If you haven't caught it yet, get ready for an absolutely fascinating interview here (his part, not mine) where we are chatting about magic, and the world around us. Sherpa Selects: SSR-Actor Joe Finfera!
50:32||Season 4, Ep. 10A throwback to a COVID era interview! It's funny-I'd seen Joe a while back on General Hospital, twice playing seedy characters, yet when I interviewed, ghe was definitely one of the most down to earth actors I'd met. There are a few that fall on this list, but somebody better cast this guy as a regular on a tv show-the tv world is missing out on a true talent!___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________I think if Joe wasn't an actor, I could imagine him as a motivational speaker. You'll hear the positivity just flowing out of his words. This is a guy that you can tell puts 1000% in his life, whether it be fitness, acting, business, or even being a dad. It's funny, I completely forgot that I once had a copy of "The Complete Book of Abs", that Joe modeled for. Your Sherpa once modeled for a calendar. What? You've never seen the "Don't Let This Happen To You and For God's Sake, Put A Shirt On, People Are Getting Nauseous " calendar? Trust me, it was a big seller. Doubled as a dartboard, too. But seriously, keep an eye open for Joe's upcoming projects. "Things Buried" is the best 13 minutes you can spend on YouTube. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a beard to work on. Where did that extra yak hair go?Joe's IMDB page: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1316530/Joe's YouTube page : https://www.youtube.com/user/joefinfera1Don't forget to check out the other "Faces To Watch" episodes this week!Follow the show on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram at @Sherpalution, and check out my website, sherpalution.com , for older episodes, Sherpa Sheets, and Spotify playlists. True Crime Screening Room: Author Rod Sadler ("Depraved Obsession")
30:08||Season 14, Ep. 6I hope that the fact that we've covered 2 true crime editors who write about murders in Michigan isn't making you reconsider your vacation time! I know the Detroit Metro Airport, and I can safely say that me or my pilot was never murdered there. Anyway, thanks so much to Rod for coming on. Here's the link to his book, along with his website, where you can check out his other books, too!Website: https://www.rodsadler.com/https://www.amazon.com/stores/Rod-Sadler/author/B00W1Q2QUS?ref=sr_ntt_srch_lnk_2&qid=1746935266&sr=8-2&isDramIntegrated=true&shoppingPortalEnabled=trueProgramming note: Catch "Sherpa Selects" on Saturdays. Sherpa Selects: SSR: Actor/Podcaster Patrick Harney!
29:33||Season 4, Ep. 9Update: Patrick has got a new podcast ("The Free Couch" )going on, and is still happily married to the lady mentioned in the interview. And he's a super-nice guy, too! It's funny that Patrick Harney went from a guy who had no interest in being in a school production to a guy involved in promoting a movie he's involved with. He was talking about the importance of being a good person, and I could tell how important that still is to him. His fiance is certainly a lucky lady. He's got a realistic view of the entertainment business, and the drive to be a success. He's the kind of person you like to root for. Keep an eye out for his upcoming releases. This is going to be one busy guy for the rest of the year.Patrick's IMDB page link: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm6018841/bioDon't forget to check out the other Faces To Watch episodes this week!Follow the show on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram at @Sherpalution, and check out my website, sherpalution.com , for older episodes, Sherpa Sheets, and Spotify playlists. Sherpa Selects: SSR- Actor/ Comic Jean Pierre Giagnoli ("Ford vs. Ferrari)
34:30||Season 4, Ep. 8Rebels, I needed some time to recuperate from my spring break (translation: time spent counting toenail clippings...we think they're his) that I figured, let's do a Sherpa Select with Jean-Pierre. This guy can do so much, it's making me tired...so have a listen!!_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Welcome to Faces to Watch Week in the Sherpa Screening Room! I would refer to Jean-Pierre Giagnoli as a triple threat, but that would be selling the guy short. Plus, I'm the short one on this podcast. What can you say about a guy whose talents are so diverse? Actor, comic, rapper, impressionist, dj...and ghostbuster? Well, I know if I want another fun interview, I can answer the musical question. "Who ya gonna call....?" From someone who lived at the hands of abuse as a child, you can only imagine how determined he is to take his talents to the top.In whatever he chooses!Jean-Pierre's IMDB page: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm11310971/Jean-Pierre's website: http://www.mcpierre.com/(By the way, I've got a week of shows with lots of wonderful women to watch or listen to. Sherpa Selects: Nick from "Fancounters"!
32:08||Season 4, Ep. 7Alas, no new episodes of "Fancounters" have been found in Podcastia for a little while. But check out this 2020 interview with Nick, to hear his stories on when celebs meet fans!________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________We get those situations in our lives. The accidental...or intentional, meeting with a celebrity. But what's the celebrity's take on that encounter? Enter Nick and Elizabeth, with the "Fancounters" podcast. They bring to you stories from people from all over the entertainment world. Nick had some really interesting stories. Especially the one about "Peeee-ter" Brady actor, Chris Knight. (It's not what you think. Sort of.) I actually did have an "incident" with singer Samantha Fox, back in the 80's. (No police were involved, don't worry) It involves a beret, which probably ended up on the hat of a roadie named One-Eye. (Don't ask...litigation is still pending.)Nick's info: Website- fancounters.com, FB: Sharpie Nation, @Fancounters, email: hello@fancounters.comNick's faves Worst Ever Podcast, The Dave Ramsey Show, Who Are These Podcasts?Sherpa Suggestions (Podcasts hosted by celebrities):Here's The Thing (Alec Baldwin)Bunny Ears (Macauley Culkin & Matt Cohen)The Big Podcast with Shaq (Shaquille O'Neal)Tara and Johnny (Tara Lipinski & Johnny Weir)What's the Tee?
