Last time on Christine Lahti in Space: "The Boss" (Alyssa Milano) has halved Christine Lahti's blow-drying budget, leaving her unable to care for patients, as the bulk of her knowledge is stored in her hair. In protest, Christine locks herself in Airlock D, where she discovers Special Guest Star Heather Locklear, a retired discount hairdresser, already hiding. Can Dr. Lahti help Heather through a panic attack and convince her to return to hairdressing before her hair flattens completely? Meanwhile, the search for Space Nurse's missing pencil continues.

Posh and Fab spend far too much time thinking about Cher's imaginary lumberjack friends who live under the lemon tree and have tea parties, and why they would be banned from the button box.

Previously on Christine Lahti in Space: Christine Lahti is settling into life at the Space Hospital, but she's really missing Earth, and Sunset, her beloved Crested Gecko. When a space avalanche causes chaos in the Emergency Department, she's forced to make a difficult choice between a baby and another, less cute baby. Will she be able to fight through her homesickness to make this obvious choice? Meanwhile 'Space Nurse' misplaces her pencil somewhere in the cafeteria.
