Today’s guest is the delightful Kameo Snyder, a Functional Medicine Nutritionist with 25 years of clinical experience restoring metabolic and cellular health, correcting gut imbalances, mitigating inflammation, and resolving biotoxin illness. She has successfully treated thousands of patients while serving as Chief of the largest Nutrition Clinic in the USAF Medical Center, developing and publishing evidence-based nutrition programs for metabolic diseases. She taught at both Old Dominion University and the Culinary Institute of Virginia medical nutrition therapy and culinary nutrition. In 2023, after walking alongside her close friends battle with cancer, she shifted gears to support women's recovery from cancer launching The Cellular Reboot, Seeing the hand of God in every cell.

She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in both Oklahoma and Colorado. She earned her BA in music from ORU in 2006, and an MDiv from ORU in 2009. She went on to complete a degree in clinical mental health counseling from Denver Seminary in 2012, and her PhD in practical theology from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland in 2019. She specializes in the area of integration studies concerned with the relationship between Christianity and counseling.In this episode, we explore a Biblical perspective on health, gleaning rich insights from Dr. French's integration studies of Christianity and counseling and diving into the concept of shalom.
