The Best Pandemic Ever Podcast
Virtual Insights with Jeff Ton
On this episode of the podcast, Paul complains about a hummingbird infestation, Jared nearly reveals his unhealthy infatuation with Sasquatch, and we’re treated to a beautiful picture of a Grandfather’s joy. All this and perspective on everything from an unexpected benefit of virtual meetings to observations on the resurgence of wildlife from accomplished author, IT professional, and doting Grandpa Jeff Ton.
Jeff was dragged kicking and screaming into business and technology. After realizing his dream of being rock star was undermined by a lack of actual musical talent, he found his calling at the keyboard of a Commodore 64. He found He could make that computer “sing” And fell in love with coding. What followed was a 35 year (and going strong) career in IT. Jeff has a knack
for building strong teams, developing those teams, and building leaders. To Jeff, his job has always been about helping people learn, grow, and succeed.
Jeff has successfully lead teams as small as five and as large as 150, spread across four continents. He’s served in multiple industries, including: banking, consumer electronics, real estate development, non-profit and tech. Through all this experience Jeff came to the conclusion it is not about the technology, it is about the business; more importantly, it’s about the people.
Jeff brings that experience to each of his keynotes, breakouts and workshops. Discovering the people, enabling them to grow, giving them the tools to succeed, and inspiring them the desire to do the same.
