As we approach Christmas, we are praying our perspective will begin to shift to embracing the miracle of Christmas by first understanding the miracle of the moment. The moment that at the fullness of time, God decided to send His Son Jesus Christ born of a woman and under the law to free from the bondage all flesh from being under the law. Without Christ, we would have no hope. But O God! His perfect plan was in place at the right time Jesus was born! Today we look to the miracle of the moment God tore through His silence with an announcement, a cry, a star, and a birth! Come and see that our God’s timing is perfect, that He offers us a new identity, and that His faithfulness is truly trustworthy.

Gratitude is often an attitude often neglected in our lives. Make no mistake about it, gratitude is a choice we all must make in our lives. Today we examine a Psalm from David that can help us recognize our need for a thankful & grateful heart. This heart begins with understanding our need to reverently, humbly, sincerely, and devotedly seek a God who is worthy of our praise & worship. Our goal is to discover how embracing a thankful/grateful spirit can change our perspective, strengthen our faith, and bring peace no matter the circumstances in our life. When it comes to prayer with persistence most of us in the church struggle. Today we look into the 7 character principles of praying with perseverance and persistence with the devotion of Elijah, Jacob, Daniel, David, and Jesus. You want to see a breakthrough in your prayer life? We can see a victory in our spiritual battles as we pray from a posture of being IN Christ. The Lord told us to ask in accordance with the will, word, and promises of God and it will be given. Come and hear, a breakthrough is waiting for you.

Many of want to get off the spiritual couch and into the battle, but at times we forget to engage our will. God gave us a will to exercise and choose His will over our own. He also gave us a will to say ‘No’ to our flesh. Today, we look into how we can stand in victory in the midst of this spiritual war we are in. In this sermon, we will learn to stand in our victory by remembering who the battle belongs to, where our feet should stand, that we must put on the whole armor of God, and we then must resist the enemy. Make no mistake that we are in a battle, regardless of your view. This battle is a spiritual battle that is to be fought with divine weapons that God has given to us. We are called to put off those things that do not align with God’s Word, and put on all those things that are divinely prepared before hand for each of us to put on. We all struggle to acknowledge we are in a fight spiritually. But nonetheless we are in it thick. Today we discover the enemy’s tactics and how wants you and I to replace God’s perfect will and word with alternatives. We will learn how to test those spirits in today’s sermon. Come and hear!

In today’s culture, having our own opinions, ideology, and relative truth is as common as having a phone. Churches need to know who they are fighting. Churches need to know the enemy’s game plan. Churches need to know that this war is not something they can opt out of. You are in a spiritual battle whether you accept it or not. Today, we get into understanding there is a battleground for the mind and the enemy is after it. He wants to get you to focus on yourself over being Christ-centered. How do we fight? We must fight and live from a posture of victory. We must stop fighting for victory, the victory is finished and already won.

There is a calling on each individual in the body of Christ who calls on the name of Jesus. Our calling is to serve one another in love through ministry. Ministry brings the body growth and growth in the body brings the body into unity under the banner of Christ. The calling to discover our spiritual shape is on each member of the body. And each member is to properly steward that gift within the body for the benefit of the spiritual and emotional health of the whole.
