In our culture today, we face the challenges of many voices attempting to fight for our allegiance. Our mind is a terrible thing to waste. A double-minded man has his mind set on the flesh, and Paul says that leads to death. A surrendered life is fully engaged in being led, ruled, and governed by the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. We cannot serve God while attempting to entertain a mind with competing allegiances. Today we look into scripture to learn how we are called to respond to the issues of life. Come and hear the word of the Lord.

All other I Am statements from Jesus hinge upon this one amazing and mind-blowing claim. Jesus is not claiming to have come into existence at the virgin birth at Bethlehem. He is declaring His existence from Ancient Days. He is the One who was at the beginning with the Father and Spirit. Today we investigate this bold claim and what we can take away from His declaration. Come and hear, because it weighs greatly upon our belief and faith as a follower of Jesus Christ.

God’s will for our lives is to be conformed into the image of Jesus Christ. Today we experience the bold statement the Lord Jesus makes, I am the True Vine. His statement speaks of Him being the fulfillment of being the One True Vine that brings abundant life found alone in Him. We are just called to remain or abide in Him so we may live this new abundant life. Come today and hear the word of God. Let His word wash over you and cleanse your heart.

This morning we come to a place where the I am statements get a little harder for the world and even some in the church to swallow. Jesus didn’t give many ways to heaven. Jesus didn’t tell us there are many truths. Nor did Jesus say that life is found in temporal things of this life. He declares we cannot inherit the true destination of eternal Life, without walking the only path of the righteous Way, based on the genuine reality of the Truth of His word. Come and hear the word of the Lord today.

The power in this statement ought to bring the people of God to our knees. We ought to stop living from a mindset of being a victim and walk, talk, and live from victory in the Resurrection. Today we look into the power of this and what it holds for our life here and now. Come and hear the word of God.

What is the role of the Good Shepherd? Come and hear the voice of Jesus! He is the Good Shepherd and desires for us to come and lean upon Him for all things. If you have ears to hear, hear the word of the Lord today.

Today we investigate Jesus’ bold statement of being the Door to the sheepfold. He was addressing the false-teachers of the law who were leading the sheep in the wrong direction or along the wrong path. Come today and hear the word of God!

When you’re in the darkness, you don’t know what is around you. You don’t know what is ahead of you. You can stumble and fall over things you never knew were present. Yet sometimes the greatest problem isn’t that you cannot find your way! It’s literally that you cannot see!Jesus makes a bold statement because He is the light of the world. He has come into the world to expose the dark and rescue us out of the darkness. The question is, will we allow Jesus to rescue us? Don’t run from the light; run toward it. When God reveals something wrong, stop justifying and defending it. Confess it by bringing it into the light, repent of it, and then walk in the light that you are forgiven of all sin. Jesus’s blood cleansed it all!

In our sermon study today, Jesus addresses more than our physical hunger. Jesus has just fed over 5000 with 2 fish and 5 loaves and these people chase after Him for more from His hand. I wonder today how many of keep seeking Jesus as a Genie in a bottle! Jesus says He is the bread of life that brings to us more than daily food, but will a hunger that is spiritual. Jesus is the bread that brings life more abundant. Regardless, we are all eternal beings. You will either receive and accept this bread that leads to eternal life with Christ or not and be separated for all eternity from a loving holy God. He/she who has ears come and hear today!
