Attachment Styles, Polarity & Learning To Communicate What You Need — Miriam Adler (@miriamadler)
This week we sit down with Miriam Adler- a relationship therapist, facilitator, and founder of La Luna. Through her work, she guides people back into deeper connection with themselves, their bodies, their emotions, and their relationships.
In this episode we talk about love, attachment styles, communication and what it actually takes to create healthy relationships. We talk about why so many of us keep repeating the same patterns in love, how childhood experiences shape the way we connect with others, and why relationships often trigger our deepest wounds.
Together we explore anxious and avoidant attachment styles, nervous system regulation, boundaries, polarity, feminine and masculine dynamics, and how to communicate what we need without blame, resentment or shutting down. We also dive into what safety really means in relationships, why so many people struggle to receive love, and how couples can move from defensiveness and misunderstanding into genuine connection and intimacy.
This is one of those conversations that will likely have you reflecting on your past relationships, your current relationship, and the ways you show up in love.
If you've ever found yourself wondering:
- Why do I keep attracting the same type of person?
- Why is it so hard to communicate what I need?
- Why do I pull away when I want closeness..or crave closeness when someone pulls away?
Then this episode is for you.

29. The Initiation She Never Asked For: Stage 3 Cancer, Plant Medicine & Learning To Surrender — Elizabeth Anura (@elizabeth_anura)
01:25:36||Season 3, Ep. 29This week, we sit down with Elizabeth Anura, a Kambo practitioner, writer and woman who has spent more than a decade exploring healing, detox, ceremony and the relationship between the body, mind and spirit.Just one year ago, Elizabeth Anura was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. After years of living consciously and working deeply with detox, plant medicine and natural healing, the diagnosis forced her into a journey she never expected- one that ultimately led her to surrender to chemotherapy after spending around four months trying to heal it naturally. In this episode, Anura shares the story of her diagnosis, the months she spent exploring alternative approaches, her relationship with Kambo, and what happened when everything she believed about healing was suddenly put to the test.We talk about death and rebirth, fear, surrender, psychedelics, the Western medical system, preparing the body for chemotherapy, and why Anura experienced almost none of the side effects she had expected. But most importantly, we talk about what happens when life gives us an initiation we would never have chosen for ourselves, and how we can find meaning, trust and transformation in the middle of it.An honest and deeply personal conversation about cancer, healing, plant medicine, Western medicine, surrender and learning to meet life exactly where we are.Timestamps00:00 Intro to the podcast & this week’s guest, Anura02:30 A stage 3 cancer diagnosis & the initiation of a lifetime09:00 Anura’s journey with Kambo & plant medicine14:00 Nina & Sophia share their Kambo experiences17:00 What is Kambo really? 22:00 Creating higher standards for Kambo safety & integrity25:00 Cancer, Western medicine & the decision to surrender33:00 Four months of natural healing- what did Anura try?37:00 The wake-up call: when she had to choose chemotherapy42:00 Psychedelics, family & searching for answers45:00 Cancer, darkness & choosing to be the light48:00 Losing her hair & surrendering to the process50:00 Why Anura experienced almost no chemotherapy side effects55:00 The story of her cat that got cancer01:04:00 Big Pharma, Western medicine & changing perspectives01:11:00 What doctors don’t learn about nutrition & holistic healing01:16:00 What comes next: writing, women’s healing & Anura’s work
27. From Fast Fashion to the Jungle: What Happens When You Finally Follow Your Heart? — Tuncin Uner (@tuncinuner)
01:07:24||Season 3, Ep. 27This week, we sit down with Tuncin Uner, a former fashion designer who dared to follow her heart, leave the 9–5 behind and create a completely different life. Today, she is a ceremonial facilitator, student of plant medicine and was a part of the Colibri team in Corfu.Tuncin shares her journey from working in the fashion industry in Sweden and realizing that the traditional 9–5 life was no longer aligned with who she was becoming, to moving across the world, finding plant medicine and eventually building a new life in Peru together with her partner. We talk about her years in Berlin, her journey from partying to sobriety, getting stuck in a small village in Turkey during the pandemic, saving animals during devastating wildfires, living close to nature and the experiences that led her towards a deeper connection with herself and the natural world. We also explore plant medicine, the importance of choosing safe and experienced facilitators, what a plant dieta is, how to approach these practices with respect, and why integration is just as important as the ceremony itself.Tuncin shares how she followed the path from fashion to medicine work, why she chose to build a life in Peru and what it really takes to leave behind a life that no longer feels true. This is an episode about courage, surrender and learning to trust your own inner guidance- even when fear is present and you cannot yet see the whole path ahead.Listen and let us know what resonates with you.Follow:@manualenkomaldrig@sophiakirgiopoulos@ninamedicinaTimestamps:00:00 Intro to Manualen Kom Aldrig & this week’s guest, Tuncin Uner05:00 From fashion and the 9–5 life to plant medicine10:00 Wildfires, wild animals, love & the journey to sobriety15:00 What is a plant dieta?20:00 Working with plant medicine without judgement22:30 Journeying to the Yawanawá & the growing trend of plant medicine32:50 Life in Peru34:00 Who can benefit from plant medicine?40:00 Leaving fashion behind & creating a new life in Peru47:00 Growing into medicine work & Tuncin’s journey with cacao50:00 Tuncin’s role in the Colibri team55:00 How to leave the system & follow your heart58:15 Courage, fear & taking the leap anyway01:00:00 What Tuncin would add to The Manual That Never Arrived01:04:00 How to work with Tuncin
26. Leaving The System To Create A Life Led By The Heart — Patricia Solarie (@patriciasolaire_)
01:08:31||Season 3, Ep. 26This week we sit down with Patricia Solarie - entrepreneur, founder of the ethical clothing brand Cereira, retreat space creator, and a woman who has repeatedly chosen to follow her heart, even when it meant walking away from everything familiar. We talk about leaving the soul-crushing corporate world, moving across the globe, building a retreat center in Costa Rica from scratch with her partner, creating a slow fashion brand rooted in integrity, and learning to trust life through seasons of uncertainty. We also dive into relationships, the importance of giving each other space to grow, choosing whether or not to have children, community living, the beauty of the unknown, and why sometimes the bravest thing we can do is change our minds. This is an episode about trusting your heart, embracing the void between chapters, and remembering that the life you’re longing for often begins the moment you stop living according to everyone else’s expectations.Instagram: @patriciasolaire_Listen and let us know what resonates with you.Follow us:@manualenkomaldrig@sophiakirgiopoulos@ninamedicinaTimestamps00:00 Intro to Manualen Kom Aldrig & this week’s guest Patricia Solarie02:30 Following your heart- from soul crushing corporate to a more free life06:00 Relationships & giving each other space to grow13:15 Choosing motherhood- or not18:00 Building a retreat center in Costa Rica from scratch22:00 Growing a retreat business & attracting your first guests23:20 The journey behind Cereira & creating an organic clothing brand30:00 Organic certifications & the reality behind the fashion industry32:00 How to start your own brand without investors34:00 Closing one dream to follow another37:00 Breaking her foot & learning to surrender and receive 41:00 The magic of the void & trusting the unknown47:00 Living through uncertain times without living in fear50:00 Community living or happy hermits?53:00 Inside the Cereira collection & conscious fashion58:00 Why imperfection is the beauty of nature01:05:00 What Patricia would add to the Manual That Never Arrived & where to find her
24. The Void – Varför Är Vi Så Rädda För Mellanrummet?
