We have identified two wonderful nonprofit organizations who are making it part of their mission to feed those with celiac who have been through these terrible hurricanes. FOODiversity is a North Carolina nonprofit accepting donations in order to provide gluten-free and allergy-safe food to those affected by Helene. The National Celiac Association is a national organization that is fundraising to support people who need gluten-free food in regions impacted by natural disasters. Members of the celiac and gluten free community are especially vulnerable during times of crisis. That’s why our Feeding Gluten Free program is here. They were able to identify Hunger & Health Coalition, Inc. - a food pantry that works with RDs in Boone, NC. We confirmed that there are passable roads in for delivery, and through our Feeding Gluten Free program we were able to purchase lots of gluten free foods for their patrons! We are grateful to be able to help in times when we are needed most. Please consider donating here: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/Me76Axs9MWbZ8LfH/?mibextid=CTbP7E1137.
