The Clonmel Junction Arts Festival is celebrating its 20th anniversary of bringing music, theatre, visual arts and spoken word to Clonmel, Tipperary every July. The Clonmel Junction Arts Festival is in full swing with lots of events every day until Sunday, 11th July. I chat with Eamon O’Malley who closes the festival on Sunday with his band CLE. As it is the 20th anniversary of the festival this year, I also talk to some production techies from the past and present who share festival memories including the current Production Manager Colin Everitt without whom the festival would just not happen. We also talk to past techies Michael Lonergan and Wes Hughes.We had the launch of the festival at our brand new Dome on Saturday and we hear the new Clonmel Mayor Michael Murphy, board member John Kennedy, Paul Walsh from Royseven, Senator Garrett Ahearn and Celine Scully from the Clonmel Credit Union.
