Festival Program Launch Special
The Clonmel Junction Arts Festival was launched online this week and we have festival director Cliona Maher to discuss the exciting program for 2021 which includes music, theatre, visual arts, live at the Dome, workshops, podcast live, literature and much more.
The festival is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and we are sharing memories from past festivals every Thursday. We have delighted to have festival founder David Teevan on this episode and he shares his most memorable moments and talks about the importance of festivals to community.

I chat with Eamon O’Malley who closes the festival on Sunday with his band CLE. As it is the 20th anniversary of the festival this year, I also talk to some production techies from the past and present who share festival memories including the current Production Manager Colin Everitt without whom the festival would just not happen. We also talk to past techies Michael Lonergan and Wes Hughes.We had the launch of the festival at our brand new Dome on Saturday and we hear the new Clonmel Mayor Michael Murphy, board member John Kennedy, Paul Walsh from Royseven, Senator Garrett Ahearn and Celine Scully from the Clonmel Credit Union.
