Marquez masters Sachsenring again
Marc Marquez won his fifth straight MotoGP race at the Sachsenring in Germany ahead of home favourite Jonas Folger and Dani Pedrosa. Victory also carried Marquez, who has now won his last eight races at the historic circuit across all classes, to the top of the championship standings although the top four are separated by just 10 points. Marc Marquez came out on top at Phillip Island following a stunning race which saw the top seven over-take one another 73 times and separated by just +5.619 seconds - the closest ever gap in the MotoGP era.
