Brew Roots

Greenbrier Valley Brewing Co.

Ep. 210

Do you remember in the late 90ies early 2000s waiting in the check out line and seeing BatBoy on the cover of the National Inquirer? Well did you know BatBoy is from West Virginia? Do you know who else is from West Virginia? Our guest this week.

Alex Durand director of Sales and Marketing with Greenbrier Valley Brewing Company sat down with us and we talked about local folk lore, paranormal stuff and beer. Alex sheds some light about how West Virginia lore inspires the names of their beer. Alex also discussed how many of their year round beers aren't only IPAs and that is more than ok with the West Virginian drinkers.

We hope you enjoy and maybe keep the lights on for this one.
