This week we have the lovely Benjamin Alldis from Peloton joining us. I was introduced to Ben a few years ago when he amazed me with his passion and commitment for fitness by waking up at the crack of dawn teaching 2-3 cycle classes every morning then going to a full time job in finance. Ben is now one of the UK Peloton Cycle instructors and has amalgamated a large fan base who ride with him daily and adoringly.

In this podcast we chat all things fitness, sleep, marathon training (where Ben and my plans differed extremely), the importance of balance and more! I could of chatted with Ben for hours so I hope you enjoy this podcast just as much as we enjoyed chatting to Ben!

  • 8. What They Don't Tell You About Addiction with Sam Salter

    38:40||Season 1, Ep. 8
    This weeks podcast is very special because I am fortunate enough to had the amazing Sam Salter joining me. Sam is a contemporary British ballet dancer (and a brilliant one at that!), currently touring with Matthew Bournes Swan Lake, and has previously been in shows such as Mary Poppins and Wicked. Sam sits down with me and kindly opens up and shares his story with addiction. From someone who has never experienced addiction directly I have nothing but admiration for Sam and his confidence to come on my podcast and speak so honestly and freely to me, and help me understand addiction. We discuss the misconception of what addiction actually is and what the image or media may portray a stereotypical ‘addict’. Sam gives us insight into the many amazing programmes available not only to addicts but to a whole heap of others struggles and problems that people may face. Teaching me that you never are really alone and there is always someone available to talk to and build a community with.   This podcast was one of my favourites to record, not only because it enabled me (and hopefully anyone listening) an insight into addiction that Sam kindly allows us in, but also the beautiful soul Sam is inside and out. I really hope you enjoy this podcast x
