Christopher launches our 21 Days of Prayer, exploring the priority, problem, and power of prayer as our church steps into this season together.

Cassie concluded our Christmas #1 series by reflecting on the song “I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day” and pointing us to a deeper, lasting hope. From Luke 2:22–35, we looked at Simeon’s song and his confident hope in a faithful, promise-keeping God. His hope wasn’t in a perfect season, but in the God who brings comfort and deliverance through Jesus. Christmas doesn’t meet us in an idealised moment, but in the real life we’re living. What we truly need isn’t Christmas every day, but Christ every day—the Light of the world who comes alongside us with compassion, power, and peace.

Steve kicked off our new series, Christmas #1! We began with Mary’s song in Luke 1:46–55, the Magnificat. Her worship turns Christmas upside down—reminding us it’s not about us striving to reach the top, but about God humbling Himself to come down and be with us. Grace and mercy aren’t earned; they’re received when we bow before Jesus, the true Christmas #1.Mary’s song was written to magnify the Lord. How will you live that out this Christmas?

Stephen wrapped up our True Religion series in Luke 19:9–27, reminding us that God sends us because He saves us and entrusts us with His gifts. We’re His ambassadors, created for good works, called to invest our lives in His kingdom with courage and joy. How will you use what God has given you?

Dub continued our True Religion series in Luke 10:25–37, exploring why love must fight for justice. He reminded us that love doesn’t just feel something—it does something. Jesus is the ultimate Good Samaritan, calling us to “go and do the same” by bringing His compassion and justice to those around us.

We had the privilege of hearing from Howard as he preached on Matthew 5:10–16, sharing powerful stories of the persecuted church around the world. As part of our True Religion series, this message reminds us that many of our brothers and sisters still suffer for the gospel of Jesus Christ. We’re called to stand with them through prayer, love and action — living out true compassion and faith in a hurting world.

We had the privilege of hearing Christopher preach and had the joy of baptising 16 people across our two meetings. We had the privilege of hearing their stories of lives transformed through Jesus!
