The Toby Gribben Show
Misha
Southwest Florida now has a positive and vibrant morning show to wake up to.”Wake Up With MISHA” is the first homegrown, locally produced, weekly magazine-style, variety television show of its kind in the area. A television program with substance, “Wake Up With MISHA” brings good news to the community in a unique, informative, educational and entertaining fashion, for audiences of all ages. Every week, every Saturday morning, at 6 a.m. on NBC-2,“Wake Up With MISHA” airs to its local viewers, containing a variety of local human interest stories and heart-warming topics that highlight everyday people, businesses and personalities who have made very positive contributions and tremendous changes, to improve our community The show is hosted by local personality Misha Mck. Born in East Orange New Jersey, and a Syracuse University graduate, Misha is not new to the world of film and television. She starred in her own television show,“Me & Mrs. C,” a primetime comedy. She later landed a co-starring role in the Warner Brother’s feature film “He’s My Girl.” For Misha, there is no doubt that the new morning show’s mission is all about helping people through entertainment while inspiring them along the way. “My husband always wanted me to host a talk show,” she says, “and I could never find the reason to push me in that direction. I didn’t want to do ‘just another talk show.’ I wanted to do something different. After 911 and the ongoing war, I decided to do something a little more inspirational and uplifting for viewers, hence …“Wake Up With MISHA.” Since its launch in May, the show has already interviewed numerously remarkable Southwest Florida personalities, focusing on local issues with national appeal. “My first pilot show was the Barbara B. Mann story,” she said. “I interviewed the women behind the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall.” The morning show has also showcased local charities, like the Boys & Girls Club, Special Equestrian, All Children’s Hospital, Rashida Ali and the research surrounding Parkinson’s at the Lee Memorial Hospital. Also, local designers and artists, such as saxophonist Allen Darcy, Chilean guitarist Mark Vee, and chefs, like Chef Martin Murphy, where you will be thoroughly entertained and educated by Misha and guest, their experiences, their dedication to the community and so much more. These are just a few of the topics that gives her show the dynamics that literally wakes people up to positivity – hence, the motto for the show – “Positivity Rules!”

With hundreds of songs to his name, he’s taken on every aspect of the process—from crafting beats and penning lyrics to designing cover art and even dabbling in music video direction. His recent album, The End of Time, marks what he describes as the conclusion of his artistic journey, citing that he has achieved everything he set out to do. While his career is ending, Jordan's work serves as a testament to what can be accomplished with unyielding enthusiasm, even if acclaim was not necessarily his endgame. For Jordan, the art was always about the effort, however unconventional the approach.Vetri Janakiraman
