Stallone, always on the hunt for the next action blockbuster, took a shot at sci-fi in 1993 with the release of Demolition Man. Set in the future of 1996 and then the future of 2032 it pits him against Wesley Snipes' Simon Phoenix having the absolute time of his life. And that's the whole movie real, just an absolute blast from the get go with somewhat accurate depictions of the future mixed in with absolute insanity like the three sea shells situation. The only logical solution to wrap up our look at the original X-Men trilogy is a updated re-release of our Caravan Of Garbage review from 2019. Sure Bryan Singer is now gone (for now) but luckily Brett "The Rat" Ratner has stepped in to take his place to conclude the stories of Wolverine, Gene Grey, Professor X, Magnet, Storm, Cyclops and many more characters that would continue to never die and re-appear in future prequels and sequels. And now think about the movie X-Men which introduced the world to the modern superhero movie with the likes of Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, Patrick Stewarts a bald guy, Ian McKellen as Magnet and Halle Berry as a much underused Storm. And with the likes of James Marsden coming back as Cyclops for Avengers: Doomsday in 2026 this decades old Marvel franchise has never been more relevant. And then there's the Bryan Singer of it all.
