Life Of A Doula - Birth, Aftercare & Taking A Village
This week, we carry on the Interview series by talking to Sam Reynolds! We talk therapy in the eyes of a Professional Doula, taking care of people throughout the Childbirth process. Discussing why the Mother takes precedent over the (very close second!) child, how the Pandemic has affected this very hands-on role and how this has affected the way in which treatment is handled, to reminding ourselves of the simple pleasures which we need during a high-stress time (not just childbirth), such as needing 10 minutes to do our hair.
You may not have heard of the word Doula before. However, the lessons learnt to transcend just the job description. We hope you enjoy it!
