The episode introduces several unique landmarks and characters to “the town” including: A generational candy store named 'Trick or Treat' that promises 'no poison' in their candies anymore, a mysterious 'Tongue Time at Lick Lake' where residents fish for tongues, and a public speaking spot known as 'A. Blinken's Stump.' The town’s radio station WK89 is created and we meet some of the hosts. Christine also talks about her hometown of Burnaby which sounds even crazier than the fictional town.
