Armed, masked agents from our federal government raided an entire apartment complex in Chicago the other night, breaking down doors, throwing American citizens out into the streets, and detaining them for hours. The very thing the British monarchy did to us so many years ago. The very thing our founders rebelled against and sought independence from. And it’s happening in America again.

The establishment and the leadership of my new political party just doesn’t get this moment. Just doesn’t understand the unique threat we face right now. The stories are endless…American citizens being grabbed and swept up in these cruel, senseless ICE raids and detentions. An American citizen working on a construction site was detained twice by ICE in four weeks. And held for hours each time. He’s now suing the government. Good. But his story, sadly, is not unique. Not at all.

Yes, it was unserious, yes, it was performative, and yes, it was a major national security risk. But the reason Donald Trump & Pete Hegseth summoned 800 of our top military commanders from around the world to all meet at a base outside DC today was much more serious, and much, much more frightening.

For the umpteenth time, this should never happen in America. This is what our founders feared. And in the year 2025, it’s exactly what Trump is doing. Putting the military on our streets against the American people. We must not allow it. He should be taken to court immediately, and we all should protest like we’ve never protested before.
