  • 6. The Revolution Will Be Televised?

    42:52||Season 2, Ep. 6
    This week, we’re breaking down Super Bowl LIX—but let’s be real, the biggest topic wasn’t the game. Kendrick Lamar’s halftime show had all the right elements on paper: deep messages, artistic visuals, and a major stage. But did it actually deliver? Or was it too abstract for a Super Bowl audience that just wanted to be entertained?Then, we shift to a lawsuit making headlines—Detroit rapper Dank DeMoss is suing Lyft, claiming a driver denied her a ride because of her weight. It’s sparked conversations about discrimination, personal responsibility, and whether ride-share companies should be held accountable for driver decisions.And while Black celebrities have been stacking awards, breaking records, and dominating pop culture, the everyday reality for most Black Americans remains the same—or worse. Are these wins really for the culture, or are they just a distraction from the real struggles people are facing?

  • 5. Big Backs, Big Wins, & Beyoncé

    42:50||Season 2, Ep. 5
    This week, we’re covering everything—starting with a full breakdown of the 2024 Grammys. Who dominated the stage? Who took home the big awards? And who had no business even stepping on that red carpet? The wins, the losses, the performances, and the straight-up chaos—nothing is off-limits.But the real news? Beyoncé has entered the chat...again. With the announcement of her Cowboy Carter tour, the Beyhive is already in shambles, and getting tickets is about to be a full-on bloodbath. (I’m talking Hunger Games-level competition. May the odds be ever in your favor.)And if that wasn’t enough, I somehow went viral—and now the internet knows me as a Big Back Muncher. On top of that, Publix needs to run me a check because I may have just put the world onto the greatest sandwich combo of all time.
  • 4. Waitin' On The World 2 Change

    38:04||Season 2, Ep. 4
    The apartment hunt continues, and at this point, I’m convinced landlords are just making up prices as they go. Why is finding a decent place to live harder than winning the lottery? Send help.Meanwhile, Trump’s executive orders have us all in shambles—because, of course, the best way to "fix" things is to make them significantly worse. The policies, the chaos, the ripple effects—it’s giving disaster, and we need to talk about it.Then, let’s get real about DEI. Companies love to slap those three letters on everything for good PR, but what’s actually going on behind the scenes? Because if it’s just a diversity brochure and a meaningless statement, it’s not giving what they think it is.And speaking of things that aren’t giving—performative activism. If your "solidarity" starts and ends with a black square on Instagram or a vague email about "standing together," please spare us. We see right through it.
  • 3. P-Word Trump

    41:54||Season 2, Ep. 3
    This week, we’re unpacking that inauguration. Snoop Dogg, Nelly, Rick Ross, and a lineup of others graced the stage, and while it should have been a cultural moment, it felt more like a hot mess served cold. But let’s be real—was this a true celebration of progress, or just another performance for the elite? Because when it comes to class solidarity, it’s looking like once some folks secure the bag, they forget where they came from. Let’s talk about it.Also, choosing peace is hard. I tried, I failed, and wine is 100% to blame for my relapse into petty behavior. Don’t judge me—judge the pinot grigio.And in brighter news, I got a new job! But that doesn’t mean I’m clocking out of breaking down the nonsense. Case in point: Elon Musk’s latest "gesture" that everyone seems to be praising. Spoiler alert: it’s not the wholesome moment you think it is.
  • 2. The Day The Earth Stood Still

    41:18||Season 2, Ep. 2
    This week, we’re talking about choosing peace… except I’m not sure that’s possible with the amount of nonsense happening right now. First up, Beyoncé is out here lying to us for absolutely no reason—like, girl, just say you didn’t want to tell the truth and keep it moving... WHERE ARE THE VISUALS?!? Drake trying to square up with Universal Music Group like it’s the final boss battle of his career and Kendrick Lamar is somehow involved, but honestly? I couldn’t care less about the courtroom drama.On to more pressing matters: my completely valid (and not at all unhinged) conspiracy theory that the world is ending. Trust me, the signs are all there. And speaking of things that make sense when you really think about it—Carrie Underwood performing at the inauguration, which, considering where she’s from, doesn’t exactly scream "shocking." You just nod and move on, you know?We need to get serious for a second because the details of the Na'Ziyah Harris case are beyond shocking. It’s 2025, and yet here we are, still dealing with unthinkable horrors involving kids and predators who seem to be multiplying by the day. It’s disgusting, infuriating, and a harsh reminder that protecting our children has never been more important.
  • 1. Who Let Me Back In Here?

    45:56||Season 2, Ep. 1
    Season 2 is here, and yes, I’m alive (barely)! In this episode, I’m spilling all the tea on my mysterious disappearance (spoiler: it wasn’t glamorous), setting some totally achievable New Year’s resolutions, roasting social media and influencer drama, and speculating on Beyoncé’s secrets—because if anyone’s got plot twists, it’s her. Grab your headphones; it’s about to get messy in the best way!
