For this mission, I’m joined by none other than the host of superb Bond podcast Smershpod, and also the cohost of the podcasts ‘A Wheezing Groaning Sound’ and ‘All Rather Mysterious’, John Rain, who can be found on Twitter and Bluesky as @ItsJohnRain, and together we’ll be listening to excerpts from Eric Serra’s much maligned score which accompanies Pierce Brosnan’s debut as Bond, ‘Goldeneye’ and discussing the tracks that accompany Bond whilst he’s abseiling down a ruddy great dam, taking a young lady for a drive in the country, staying ‘Ontotop’ of things, doing the dishes, enjoying a good squeeze, amongst other Cuban based shenanigans!
