The Reggies

A huge weekend of punting awaits us with the Golden rose at Rosehill, AFL grand final and prelims in the NRL, as well as some bowen racing on Friday and Toowoombas biggest meet of the year. Tommy gets a win and some help from the punt gods to stay out of the dreaded -100 units. Jace has a multi that is the “surest thing the show has seen”, if there’s anyone that can stop it, it’s him. Rockets usual drive by has turned into an absolute ripping for Jace and Gropes regarding their AFL teams now they’ve exited the finals and it has left the boys speechless. The boys cover all things from the finals series of the AFL and NRL over the weekend, including a prelim for the ages that has Jace still in mourning. The NRL finals seem to be clear cut but the boys ponder if their terrible predicting abilities can stop 2 sure things. Prepare yourself for the 4th origin decider as the two rugby heartland cities go head to head in the granny this weekend, this should not disappoint. The Lawrence boys are taking the motocross world, and yes, even Tom and Jace covered motorsport without Dad (Groper) there to do it for them. It's Underwood Stakes day and we can't wait to rip in! Definitely some Caulfield Cup and Melbourne Cup hopefuls going around this weekend so lets hope we can find a few. The boys are all back in the run on side this week with all 3 of us being in the studio. Shock. An episode full of everything with both codes now playing finals. We chat Cleary, Hynes, Ginnivan, Daniher and of course Addo-Carr. 2 of the great semi-final AFL games were played last weekend and unfortunately were both overshadowed by off field carry on. Oscar Piastri wins in F1 for the second time this season and Tommy and Jace cover the epic UFC production at the sphere on Sunday. Makybe Diva Stakes at Flemington, what a mare she was and what an honour it must be to line up in this race. Barbs is back on track with a couple of nice winners and he has backed it up this week by breaking his cardinal rule (which is now no longer a rule). Tommy rings in from Darwin with his bets, and of course Rocket clips us on the way past with another pearlah. How good is September! Finals footy in the AFL last weekend was absolutely electric and we cannot wait for both the NRL and AFL to continue. We talk Jack Ginnivan, Tom Papley and Toby Greene just to name a few absolute pests of the game. Geelong and Hawthorn get massive air time as you can imagine and we look forward to a couple of ripping semi finals this week. Engie Stadium becomes a hot topic, Jace is not happy that the Giants don't have to play finals at the SCG. We look ahead to the NRL finals and is it just as simple as Melbourne playing Penrith at Accor Stadium in a months' time? Time will tell. The poms are back making headlines again in the cricket so of course we must laugh at them, lets hope it doesn't backfire since the Aussies play them this week. An all time show with some cracking call ins from all the Reggies team but especially from Jace who is horizontal sipping cocktails in Fiji. The leaderboards went up during the week and we have some big big moves, not all in the upward direction however. The Reggies Group 1 race is this weekend with The More Ya Stakes at Moonee Valley on Saturday, and what a race it looks like panning out to be. The old boys are chirping again after they went a few more units ahead last week and rocket sinks us with one of his great one liners. What a weekend we have ahead of us, Spring has definitely sprung and we cannot wait to back some winners. Gropes is back after his honeymoon with a ripper yarn about some trippers from deep in the mountains of the Gold Coast! Tommy has another blow up about his golf day. We eventually get into our sport work talking all things NRL, the good, the bad and the absolute shit. AFL finals start this weekend and what a round of finals it is! The Melbourne media trying to pump up the 6th v 7th elimination final at the MCG as the major game of the weekend.....no complaints from G1. Very exciting finish to the F1 season coming right up, Verstappen being hunted down by the Maclaren drivers and its great to see. Bit of dog shotting going on in the Aussie boxing ring, big squeeze of the week vibes there! Heaps of laughs today we fuckin loved it.
