Teacher Frank Keane discusses his time coaching rowing for the Olympics. Vive la Reunion! Well, we've previously had interviews in Russian and German on PBC Podcast and now French steps to the fore. In the season finale we meet our exotic visitors from a school in the Indian Ocean who came into Pres on an exchange in May. Teacher Luc Briand and his students from Reunion Island, a French Département east of Madagascar, share their culture and music with us including bi-lingual interviews and chats.Amuse-toi bien! Past pupil Cillian Murphy is on a winning streak following the huge success of Oppenheimer having won a golden globe, he's now nominated for an Oscar, Bafta and SAG. We are absolutely thrilled with all his accolades and wish him all the best in bringing the gold home. Principal David Barry and Cillian's former teacher Mr. Wall spoke on Cork's RedFM following the good news. Also on the show, our budding reporters took to the streets of Cork to hear the reaction from the latest news and renaming of Páirc Uí Choimh. All that and more so tune in.
