Genie Dawkins

Lateefa Dawkins fondly called "Genie" by friends is an author and Confident Parent Strategist. She holds a BA in Sociology and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Maryland. She's also a certified Integrative Health Coach. Genie uses her skills and experience as a leader in her field by empowering families with special needs children. She is the author of the best-selling book Not My Child: Navigating Your Child’s Difficulties with IEP’s. As a single mother with four special needs children, Genie Dawkins attributes her family as her inspiration.
