Our Guests


Scott concentrates on strategic business planning, corporate communications and governance. He leads on Linc's New Business Strategy and is a Director of Tarbed Ltd.


Scott has held Directors roles with responsibility for Asset Management, Development, Housing and Corporate Leadership. He has worked with Pobl Group for the past 13 years leading Charter Housing and Derwen Cymru. He is a Non-Executive Director for ASH Wales, Abbeyfield Wales Society and Community Housing Cymru.


Emily-Rose is a passionate young leader working as a geotechnical engineer for Transport for Wales. She has a varied experience working on both railway and highway schemes in design and asset management, focusing on the interconnection between geotechnical assets, drainage and the environment. She believes in making the world a better place; working with nature and not against it. Emily-Rose is a One Young World Ambassador and is currently taking part in the Future Generations Leadership Academy.

Scott chose Mike Tyson's Undisputed Truth, an autobiography that lays bare the story of his remarkable life and career, including his upbringing, the impact of deprivation and how his relationship with his coach affected his mind and decision making. 


Emily-Rose chose Why I'm no Longer Talking to White People about Race by Reni Eddo-Lodge. This #1 Sunday Times Bestseller is a book that sparked a national conversation, exploring everything from eradicated black history to the inextricable link between class and race.

Penny explains: "When my daughter was young, I realised it was full of philosophy and there’s a great quote, it’s one of Tigger’s, and it goes ‘It doesn’t matter how fast you run or how high you jump, it’s all about how well you bounce’. A great resilience line from a Zebedee of a Tigger. So, look to Winnie the Pooh if things get tough."Ivan chose The Kybalion: A Study of The Hermetic Philosophy of Ancient Egypt and Greece by The Three Initiates. Ivan says "it’s an old, mystic book in terms of energy transference, and how to shift and apply your mindset within any single situation you’re going through. He joined the company in July 2017 and was previously Chief Strategy Development Officer, European Markets.Prior to joining AXA, Claudio spent ten years at Zurich where he held a number of senior positions including Chief Strategy Officer for the Zurich Group, CEO of the Zurich Life Insurance Company and Chief Operating Officer of Zurich Insurance UK.He is currently a board member for AXA Konzern in Germany and Switzerland-based insurance start-up JAROWA. Claudio previously served on the board of Farmers New World Life in the US and is a council member of the British Swiss Chamber of Commerce.Claudio began his career as a management consultant working for McKinsey & Company and Accenture. He has a Masters in Environmental Engineering from ETZH Swiss Federal Institute.Sandiso Sibisi the founder of COOi Studios, an Open Innovation advisory and lab for corporates, that bridges the gap between innovative products developed by start-ups and corporations wanting to solve tough business problems, using design thinking.Prior to COOi Studios, Sandiso served as the Head of Open Innovation for Africa region at Accenture, a global technology consulting company. In 2013, Sandiso established the Born to Succeed programme, which advocates and educates for young women’s economic participation, to date the programme has helped over 120 women obtain employment.Sandiso is a One Young World ambassador, an impactful young leader creating a better world, with more responsible and effective leadership. Her other accolades include being named as a Sustainable Development Goals ambassador; one of Mzansi’s 100 Inspiring and Aspiring Leaders; a Play Your Part Ambassador with Brand South Africa; an Inspiring fifty Women in Tech; and a Mandela Washington Fellow.
