Conor was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 18, just before starting his incredible road to success within the hairdressing and beauty industry.
Conor is a Consultant, Educator and Content creator within the hair industry. In 2019 Conor James Education ( linktr.ee/conorjmd ) was born, and has facilitated the up-skilling and education of thousands of industry professionals since.
As Conor says himself, he always “had a constant need to understand the finer details within his craft”, and that’s something that he applies to his education today. He set a goal to create education that is more than just 'copy and paste' techniques, but to offer a deeper understanding into the decisions made as colourists.
Conor has won L'Oréal young colourist, Ladies Colour Trophy, International young colourist, he was nominated as best ‘Beauty Influencer’ as he shares incredible insight, experience and advice to his now 85K+ Instagram followers & 70K+ Tiktok followers (@conorjmd).
Conor’s work has been featured internationally across magazines and platforms including Modern Salon, Ahead Hair Media, Creative Head, Behind The Chair, Hairpainters, Hairbrained official and many many more. He has also educated for platforms including L'Oreal, Redken and HairdressingLive.
There are few things Conor hasn’t done within his industry, and it’s no surprise he’s at the top of his field ( linktr.ee/conorjmd ).
