The Power of Imagination with Scott & Dax Feld

Ep. 24

Imagination is one of the greatest gifts that we as human beings have. With imagination, we can travel the world, imagine ourselves achieving our goals, create arts, write stories, and much more. Whereas each person possesses a certain degree of imagination, the degree by which this ability manifests in different people differs a lot. Some people can imagine clear mental images, and others can imagine only blurred images. However, this ability can be improved with proper exercise; the sooner we start, the better it is for its development. This is why it is so essential promoting the use of imagination in kids. If you learn how to use your imagination from a young age properly, its power will be limitless.

DAX to the MAX is a book written to inspire young children and give wings to their imagination while instilling and encouraging the habit of reading. This book aims to nurture the hidden SuperPower of Imagination that young children have often not learned to tap into and to make them aware that anything is possible when we add intention to our thinking.

In this episode of The Dream, The Date & The Broken Bra, I am joined by Scott Feld and his son Dax Feld. Scott has worked with kids and teens for the past 25 years in the environment and entertainment business. And he's developed custom parties and a DJ company with his company extreme fun. With his son Dax, he wrote the book DAX to the MAX to help inspire young children worldwide. Throughout this episode, Scott and Dax will tell us how the book DAX to the MAX was born, why Scott decided to open a company to help kids access their inner power, and what’s in store for the future.

  • 22. A Path Less Traveled with Michelle Sorro

    58:35||Ep. 22
    Life is a journey, not a destination. For years I thought I had to follow specific rules and steps to succeed in life and that if I couldn’t accomplish them, my value as a human being would decrease. Everything changed when I finally awakened to the truth that this was just an illusion. My life journey shouldn’t follow pre-established rules or paths, but it should be free to unfold in my own time and space. This realization was life-changing for me, and I started my own awakening journey. I stopped following what others wanted me to do, listened to my soul, and evolved into my genuine self. Awakening journeys are fundamental for discovering our true purpose in life. They can be scary, but they will bring us to a position of self-empowerment and worth. There are no rules on what you should do to start your own journey; some people use traditional methods like therapy and meditation, and others choose alternative methods like plant medicine. Your awakening journey is a call. Follow yours. In this episode of The Dream, The Date & The Broken Bra, I am joined by Michelle Sorro. Michelle is a TV host turned heart-centered entrepreneur and transformational trainer. She's the host of the fire and soul podcast, co-founder of the podcast accelerator, and the founder of soul circles, her most recent endeavor. Throughout this episode, Michelle will tell us about her awakening journey and how her life, world, and all her identities began to dissolve, ultimately leading her to a profound awakening and journey of her soul.In this Episode, You Will Learn:Michelle's background in retail hosting (07:31)The plant medicine ceremony that changed Michelle’s life (10:03)The importance of integration (25:22)Allow yourself to be in the present moment (30:14)Michelle’s awakening experience (38:18)Soul Circle: Michelle’s new mastermind (35:11)Unplug from the internet and immerse yourself in nature (53:17)Connect with Michelle Sorro:WebsiteFire & Soul Podcast InstagramFacebook Let’s Connect:FacebookInstagramEmail

  • 20. The Healing Power of Mindfulness with John Abate

    01:12:50||Ep. 20
    Did you ever find yourself at a point where you couldn’t let the past go, and stress and judgment took over your life? I'll tell you a secret; you are not alone. Sometimes life puts us through difficult situations, and our bodies’ first response is to react to it, find a solution, and move forward. We are so conditioned and patterned to constantly be moving and doing things, getting stuff done, that it can be challenging to take a moment to stop, be present and breathe. This is when learning to practice mindfulness can make a difference in our lives.Mindfulness is the essential human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s happening around us. Mindfulness is a quality that every human being already possesses; it’s not something you have to conjure up. You just have to learn how to access it.In this episode of The Dream, The Date & The Broken Bra, I am joined by John Abate. John is trained and qualified to teach MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) through the University of California San Diego (UCSD) Center for Mindfulness and Integrative Studies. • 19. Amplify Love and Vibrate Abundance with Michelle Alva

    01:13:48||Ep. 19
    Have you ever wondered why when you feel love in your body, you find yourself happier and more relaxed? The answer is simple. It’s just a matter of hormones. When the “love hormone” oxytocin is released in our bodies, it also stimulates endorphins to release in your body. Endorphins are the so-called “happy hormones,” and they are powerful pain relievers. So the more love you have, the less pain perception you will experience and the happier you will be. Imagine you being okay with yourself. Imagine allowing yourself to feel again. This is what Tantra and the love hormone are about. Amplify love means being available emotionally to all the sensations that you're feeling and accepting everything about yourself. In this episode of The Dream, The Date & The Broken Bra, I am joined by Michelle Alva. Michelle is a very passionate sex love and intimacy coach. She is also the creator of the Alva method, an approach of self-discovery that integrates modern science and ancient wisdom practices to educate and empower individuals on how to reset and calm their nervous system and heal from emotional pain in the body with minor effort. Throughout this episode, Michelle shares her journey of healing from past trauma, what the Alva method is all about, and how self-love is the most potent medicine.
