However, she and Sam learn of a the darker dealings their master is becoming involved in. What will Celaena do when faced with the fate of hundreds of innocent lives? We follow Celaena to the port town of Innish. She is on her way to the Red Desert as her punishment for destroying the slave trade her Master had set up. While in Innish, she runs into a young healer with big dreams that may just alter the course of the world itself.

We rejoin Celaena in the Red Desert as she is betrayed by her first friend. Will Celaena choose to follow what she has learned during her time in the desert and show compassion and restraint or will she allow anger and hatred to cloud her judgement as she gets ready to return home to Rifthold. 

Celaena is back in Rifthold and the warmth of summer is gone. She is back under Arobynn's thumb and reverting right back to the person she was before she left for the Red Desert. Will Celaena finally speak up for herself with Arobynn and will she finally learn how to speak to Sam properly? Find out in this weeks episode of The Bookly Podcast.
