We follow Celaena to the port town of Innish. She is on her way to the Red Desert as her punishment for destroying the slave trade her Master had set up. While in Innish, she runs into a young healer with big dreams that may just alter the course of the world itself.

Celaena has made it to the Red Desert and she is to train with the Mute Master of the Silent Assassins. However, will Celaena learn to leave who she is behind and accept a new way of thinking to fit in? Will she learn that compassion, trust, and friendship are the only things that can save her in this world and ultimately help her save the ones she loves?

We rejoin Celaena in the Red Desert as she is betrayed by her first friend. Will Celaena choose to follow what she has learned during her time in the desert and show compassion and restraint or will she allow anger and hatred to cloud her judgement as she gets ready to return home to Rifthold. 

Celaena is back in Rifthold and the warmth of summer is gone. She is back under Arobynn's thumb and reverting right back to the person she was before she left for the Red Desert. Will Celaena finally speak up for herself with Arobynn and will she finally learn how to speak to Sam properly? Find out in this weeks episode of The Bookly Podcast.
