Most of us want best for ourselves. We want the dream job, salary, house. But that's all it is: a want.

You can't want something and have it at the same time. So you stay in a perpetual state of want to prevent yourself from getting the things you desire. Then you breathe a sigh of relief, because nothing has to change.

Unfortunately, stagnation feels more comfortable than success because your brain and nervous system want to keep you safe and comfy. On top of that, you've internalized a lot of crap about how women should behave and what we should aspire to be.

In this episode I'll discuss exactly how to stop standing in the way of your own success so you can finally build the life you deserve.

BTW here's the lifetraps quiz I mentioned.

🎙️ About the podcast: The patriarchy is starting to crumble, but sadly it probably won't be fully dismantled in our lifetime. In this podcast, I help women exploit the system's loopholes while finding the hidden ways the patriarchy conditions us to leak our power. Because guess what? Power isn't given, it's either taken or created. And it's time to take back the power the patriarchy stole from us.

👸 About Neeki: I earned my Bachelor’s in Public Policy with High Distinction and went on to complete my Master’s in Political Science, both at the University of Toronto. I've been invited to present my research on how underdogs build and leverage power at conferences across North America. Before launching this podcast, I worked in management consulting, advising senior executives at some of Canada’s largest companies.

As women, we have so much to be angry about, and rightfully so.However, many women get caught in the trap of channelling their anger towards men. Don't get me wrong, that anger is justified. But anger without an outlet becomes, at best, resentment, and worst, self-destruction.In this episode, I'll help you unlock a new level of consciousness about your anger and how it could be rooted in things you never thought of.I highly suggest you also listen to my episode "7 ways to make your feminine rage work for you" on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or YouTube.Timestamps:0:00 Intro2:26 The power of female rage8:35 The truth about anger & why we repress it14:48 A new level of consciousness about anger21:21 The antidote to anger If you get ads at the beginning of this episode, add ~3 minutes to the timestamps__________🎙️ About the podcast: The patriarchy is starting to crumble, but sadly it probably won't be fully dismantled in our lifetime. Every culture and religion (yikes) has a variation of "The Golden Rule": Treat people how you want to be treated. This principle has brainwashed many women into a false sense of fairness and reciprocity with the world.
