🎙️ About the podcast: The patriarchy is starting to crumble, but sadly it probably won't be fully dismantled in our lifetime. In this podcast, I help women exploit the system's loopholes while finding the hidden ways the patriarchy conditions us to leak our power. Because guess what? Power isn't given, it's either taken or created. And it's time to take back the power the patriarchy stole from us.

👸 About Neeki: I earned my Bachelor’s in Public Policy with High Distinction and went on to complete my Master’s in Political Science, both at the University of Toronto. I've been invited to present my research on how underdogs build and leverage power at conferences across North America. Before launching this podcast, I worked in management consulting, advising senior executives at some of Canada’s largest companies.

That's because patriarchy has brainwashed us to think we need to prove ourselves in order to affirm our self-worth. In this episode, I'll get into why the complete opposite is true. In fact, making women think they're the chasers rather than the choosers goes against the matriarchal nature of human beings. When we sit back and let people prove themselves to us, we trigger a very basic psychological need for validation. I call this being an anus and shifting the onus. In this episode, I’ll discuss:Why proving yourself makes you look weak & disposableHow to stop looking desperateThree psychological strategies to trigger people's need to prove themselves to youHow to use this law in dating, work, business, and lifeHow to let go of the guilt and doubt holding you back from doing this✨Hope you love it and can use this law to make your dreams come true. We're brainwashed into thinking it's more important to be liked than to be respected, and we can only be liked by doing things for others. Not only does this set you up for failure, it also makes people much less likely to respect you.Sure, everyone likes the nice girl because they can use her, but no one respects her. • How to use mansplainers to your advantage

Annoying, yes. Useful, also yes.In this episode, I break down a simple psychological formula that turns mansplaining into a strategic advantage. Because it’s time to stop playing fair in an unfair world. When you understand the psychology behind why someone feels the need to explain everything to you, the dynamic DRASTICALLY changes. Instead of shutting them down, you guide the conversation, lower their guard, and steer the interaction where you want it to go.Smart women don’t get mad. They redirect a mansplainer’s impulse to explain into leverage. This episode explains the same elicitation techniques used by intelligence professionals in agencies like the FBI and CIA. These methods help investigators gather information without triggering defensiveness. The same principles apply in everyday conversations, at work, in dating, and in social settings.I’ll discuss:The elicitation technique used by intelligence agencies to gather informationThe three-step formula that turns mansplaining into a strategic advantageThe psychology behind mansplainingHow to lower someone’s guard so they reveal more than they intendedHow “nice girl” conditioning trains women to give away their powerWhy strategic communication is not manipulationTimestamps:0:00 Intro3:30 How to use elicitation on mansplainers9:10 Unlearning “nice girl” grooming19:07 Join the Patreon20:54 The psychological formula33:41 Is this manipulative? If you get ads at the beginning of this episode, add ~3 minutes to the timestamps__________🎙️ About the podcast: The patriarchy is starting to crumble, but sadly it probably won't be fully dismantled in our lifetime. Over explaining often comes from people pleasing, fear of judgment, and subtle social power dynamics. Once you see the pattern, you start noticing how explaining yourself too much affects confidence, boundaries, and the way people (don't) respect you.I'll break down the psychology behind over explaining, why women do it, and the mindset shift that helps you stop explaining yourself and start being taken seriously. This episode is complimentary to the one directly preceding it (Girly law of power #32: Stop trying to be understood by everyone).PS I strongly recommend you listen to this with earphones to get the full experience. That when we grow up, we have to find Mr. Right and marry him for love.
