Stupid Sequence

We kick off year 3 of the show with another Head to Head discussion about bands both of us like! Join us as we choose the best songs from 10 different bands, dig into some of our personal history and some of the bands' history, and deal with hard drive problems.

We've somehow been doing Stupid Sequence for two years! Join us as we rapid fire our way through 7 different mini lists this week. We debate things like artificial flavors, which hobbit is best, and our favorite video game mechanics.

We're joined by Josh's wife, Grace, for a discussion of which cereals are great and which ones... aren't. Listen in as we go over which cereals destroy your mouth, which ones fall apart in milk, and how clusters make every cereal better.

We're here with a short episode this week as we discuss some of our favorite internet videos from pre-2010. Early youtube and even pre-youtube clips abound, as we talk about how the internet has changed over time and laugh about goofy voices and bad animation.

This week we're having an (unfortunately) fireworks-filled celebration of the Billboard #1 Pop Single each year from 1980-2009. Listen to us sift through the ballads, praise some incredible performers, and weed out a song about... something we can't print here. What was going on in 1998?

We've finally gotten around to a much earlier idea for an episode: Discussing our favorite voice actors! Turns out there's a whole lot of them and a whole lot of roles we enjoy. Josh tends to favor actors from some video games and older shows, Scott likes some long-running classics, and we both marvel at just how many roles some of these folks have played.

We're trying out a new format this episode! This week we're doing a Head to Head discussion: Rather than pick a whole list of 10 ranked movies, Scott and Josh each pick 1 movie for each year of the 2000s and pit those against each other. The twist is that we can't pick a movie that's ever been on a previous episode's list. As an added bonus we talk a little about some of the worst movies from each year as well.
