It's time for a special announcement.

It's the end of another calendar year, which means it's time for our yearly roundup of stuff that came out this year! Scott's sports dreams are coming true, Josh valued a lot of video games and TV, and we actually had a small amount of duplicates around our lists and honorable mentions this year.

This week we're finally joined by Josh's sister Leah to discuss a whole bunch of board games! Scott still likes chess, Leah dominates at Scythe, and Josh contains the burning hatred of a thousand suns for a particularly odious game.

We're taking on what might be our stupidest list yet: We've grabbed the top ten most popular genres from the mediums we cover, and we're ranking all 50 of them in one big list. Just in time to miss Halloween, we're back to discuss our favorite horror movies! (We did record this before Halloween, at least). Scott's big on horror comedy, Josh leans a bit more in the sci-fi direction, and we both agree that torture porn Is Not It.

It's time for another new format! This week we've made a bracket of every NFL mascot, and they're all fighting to the death! We discuss how birds are pretty weak, debate what types of firearm a pirate would have, and ask the important question: How do you fight electricity?

This week we're talking about the times when you have a character from a great show that you just can't stand. Josh hates characters who make constant stupid decisions, Scott's bummed out by a formerly enjoyable character gone bad, and we both agree that maybe you shouldn't have put a kid on the bridge of a starship.
