Broadcaster, DJ and Author Annie Macmanus comes for lunch with Andi and Miquita, to herald the start of season 2 of Stirring It Up.

Annie brings her best friend, Creative Producer Reju Sharma, who moved to London from Birmingham when Annie moved over from Ireland. They shared a flat together, as well as a workplace at BBC Radio One.

Family, fishing, friendship, and Radio One in the Noughties are discussed, as is ambition, changing lanes, the joy (and pain) of writing, and so much more. 

There are tears and much laughter around a table laden with three kinds of barbecued fish, a green bean curry, chana dahl, sweet potato & caramelised onion roti, and a coconut and pomegranate lamb's lettuce salad.
