Stay Grounded with Raj Jana
6. Raj Jana: The Art Of Letting Go
August 2023 marks a powerful milestone for me completing my 100 Days of Raj challenge - where I practiced choosing myself and prioritizing my wellbeing, fully and relentlessly, before prioritizing the needs of anything or anyone else outside of me for 100 days (Here's the episode where I talk about starting the challenge).
What’s resulted is a new way of BEING that is anchored into the sacred geometry of who I am at my core. It’s led to incredible new opportunities, relationships, and experiences that were deeply nourishing to my mind, body, and soul. I have gotten so much better at letting go of my attachments and am accessing infinite levels of flow, ease, and inspiration as a result. I can’t wait to share my biggest takeaways with you.
A few topics we discuss:
- How to anchor into the TRUE frequency of you
- Using faith and prayer to BECOME grounded
- Aligning your sacred geometry to the universal geometry
- Access higher states of consciousness through contrast
- The power of saying no to what you don’t want
- Liberating yourself from limiting beliefs and stories
- Accessing infinite levels of flow by playing the infinite game
- Building the skill set of “repair” in relationships
- Powerful lessons from 100 days of choosing myself
This month’s reflection highlights the incredible experience of LIFE that is possible when you commit to consistently doing your inner work. I hope the episode inspires you to continue looking within, especially when it’s difficult to do so, and commit to your own path of liberation.

57:06In this week's episode, we explore the healing power of unconditional love with Executive Life and Business Coach Ryan Matsumori. With over 10 years of experience as a transformational life coach, Ryan Matsumori has an in-depth understanding of human relationships and personal growth. As a Professional Certified Coach recognized by the International Coaching Federation, Ryan has supported over 500 clients in developing self-love, confidence, and clarity within themselves. Having walked his own journey to embrace vulnerability and listen to his heart after a difficult divorce, Ryan is adept at guiding others to break free of limiting beliefs and conditioning to live a life aligned with their truths. Some key insights from Ryan:Unconditional love provides the safety for us to be vulnerable and express all parts of ourselves without fear of judgment. This allows us to be grounded in our most authentic selves. When we focus on our own self-judgment, we disconnect from both ourselves and others. But being intimate with all aspects of ourselves is crucial for alignment. The mind often projects limiting beliefs based on past experiences. But the wisdom of the heart can guide us to create a different future aligned with our truths.Going through intense hardship cracked open Ryan's constructs and allowed him to finally listen to his heart's wisdom. We often need trauma to prompt our awakening.Simple practices like conscious breathing, shaking, and bounding can regulate our nervous system and bring our bodies into a state of safety and grounding. This heart-opening discussion is a reminder that love - for ourselves, others, and the universe - is always available if we allow ourselves to access it by breaking free of limiting beliefs. When we trust we are unconditionally loved, we gain the courage to live fully as our truest selves.Timestamps:0:00 - Intro3:00 - Having Authentic Conversations7:00 - Learning to be present with ourselves.10:00 - What Is Self Judgement?15:00 - Creating safety24:45 - Out of the head, into the body.33:00 - Becoming aware of your limiting beliefs42:00 - Moving into the heartConnect with Ryan:Email Facebook Connect with Raj: WebsiteInstagramTools mentioned in this episode:Brag Book: A simple way to compile all your excellent feedback or the impact you createdShaking and bouncing for nervous system regulationHand on heart, conscious breathing practiceGetting out of head and into bodyExploring the mind, heart, gut perspectivesUnconditional love and presenceLegal Disclaimer: The information and opinions discussed in this podcast are for educational and entertainment purposes only. 57:26Last week on October 7th, there was a grueling terrorist attack on innocent Jewish people. Since then, there have been heartbreaking levels of carnage happening to innocent Palestinian people. My heart breaks for humanity. This podcast is not about choosing a side. So much innocent bloodshed. There are no winners in this fight. What we need, now more than ever, is the capacity within us to relate with one another on a HUMAN level. To feel and recognize another’s pain while holding space for our own. To emotionally connect with people who look and act differently than us. With people who have differing opinions and differing life experiences from us. With people who see the world differently than we do. And I brought on my dear friend, Mr. Jay P. Newman, to help inspire the courage and give you the tools to do so effectively.Jay P. Newman is a dear brother of mine, a successful entrepreneur and investor, and a mentor inside of his local Jewish communities. We had this podcast scheduled to record days after the initial Israel attacks and decided to trust the timing of it all and record something incredibly relevant for the times we are in. Key Topics Discussed:* Why it's difficult yet essential to remain open-hearted in times of conflict* How bearing witness to each other's pain can dissolve barriers* The courage required to hold space for grief and disagreements with empathy* Choosing happiness over "being right" in relationships and world affairs* The power of listening with genuine curiosity about different perspectives* The ultimate goal of recognizing our common bonds despite surface differences* Faith in life's bigger picture as an antidote to getting lost in fear-based narratives & stories* Centering our energy on what unites us rather than divides us as human beings* The inner work and mindfulness needed to tap into empathy amidst outer turmoil* Small acts of humanity that start ripples of peace: how we each play a part* Finding inspiration in leaders who embody compassionate, heart-centered leadershipIf you’ve been affected by these tragic events, I want you to feel my heart with you. I’m sorry that this type of darkness exists in the world. I hope this podcast offers you solace and grounding as you navigate a very complex emotional landscape.
