MLB Free Agency, Ja Morant, Bulls' Hot Start

This year's MLB Free Agency class features some heavy hitters and lights out pitching. Stacey, Matt, and Mason share which teams and players they will be watching for this winter. Stacey and Mason agree that the Atlanta Braves have to make moves while Matt says the Philadelphia Phillies are in need of a big splash. Also, Mason says this year's relievers in free agency is the best he's ever seen. The episode switches gears to the NBA where Stacey ask if the basketball world witnessing the end of Ja Morant's time with the Memphis Grizzlies. Mason believes there is not a wrong answer to trading him while Matt and Stacey agree its time for both sides to part ways. The last topic covers the hot start of the Chicago Bulls. All three guys are impressed with the Bulls but Stacey believes they will fall back down to Earth at some point.

Next, Matt believes the Oklahoma City Thunder can win 76 games, which will break the previous mark of the 2015-16 Golden State Warriors. Stacey thinks they can at least tie the Warriors while Mason is a bit skeptical. Lastly, Stacey, Mason, and Matt share what team in the College Football Playoffs could make a huge splash then make first round predictions including a hilarious moment involving Tulane.

Stacey and Matt believe cold streaks at the plate were the main factor while Mason cites unlucky pitching rotations. All three believe the Mariners should bring back Josh Naylor and Eugenio Suarez this winter. In the last segment, the trio debate if Kevin Durant is fit to lead a hopeful Houston Rockets team to the NBA Finals. While all three believe Kevin Durant does not need another ring, him becoming a leader will do wonders for his entire legacy.

Next, Stacey asks if the Houston Rockets fall early in the playoffs, how much would that hurt the legacy of Kevin Durant. The guys believe Luka Doncic should be the leader of the Los Angeles Lakers going forward. For the east, Stacey, Matt, and Noah discuss the pressure the New York Knicks and Cleveland Cavaliers are under to take over the conference knowing the last two conference champions are down their superstar players.
