David Caprera Marries Bridge and Life
American champion David Caprera joins us to talk about the dangers of discussing bridge while driving and his two-strikes policy when it comes to cheating. Plus, he shares his top tip for developing players. But first, we kibitz!
Buy David's book 'Sleeping on the Couch' here or here or here or ... all proceeds to the USBF Junior Program.
Dave's top five favorite bridge books ...
1. "Adventures in Card Play." Ottlik. Simply the best bridge book ever.
2. "Expert Bridge Simplified". Not for everyone.
3. "Bridge for Dummies". I know that seems an odd choice but it is the book I recommend whenever someone asks for a good starting book. It is written by Kantar so it has his light and funny writing style.
4. "Bridge Odds for Practical Players". Particularly if you don't have the quantitative background for Rubens' book.
5. And of course, "Sleeping on the Couch".
