Once widely known as the ultimate party boy, Davey’s life is currently undergoing a significant transformation. After battling cocaine and alcohol addiction for many years and almost losing his life in December 2023 he entered rehab and is now on a path of recovery. From the moment we introduced ourselves I was blown away by his vulnerability as a 34 year old male bravely overcoming addiction. His journey deeply resonated with me and I seriously could have chatted to Davey for hours. You will soon hear that his family means the world to him and that he struggles to accept the word proud when someone throws that his way. but Davey I am so proud of you and I know that once the listeners hear your story you will have that word thrown your way many more times. Davey serves as a reminder that the party boy persona is just a facade and what truly matters most are the layers underneath. I feel honored to have Davey as my first male guest on the podcast and I couldn't be happier to share his story with you.
