Cariad Lloyd is a Comedian, Actress, Writer and Podcaster. She is the co-creator of the improv show 'Austentatious' and the host and creator of the award-winning podcast 'Griefcast.' Known for her appearances on shows such as Have I Got News For You, Peep Show and QI, she was nominated for Best Newcomer for her debut solo show at Edinburgh Fringe.


Cariad also co-hosts Weirdos Book Blub with Sara Pascoe and her show Austentatious has had five sell-out Edinburgh Festivals and performed a residency in London’s West End. She has also just released her debut children’s novel is 'The Christmas Wish-tastrophe.'


In this episode Cariad opens up on her insightful thoughts on the doors she tried so hard to open in her life, but when it's that hard maybe a different door is the one you should go through! Her Sliding Doors Moments include: Not getting the A-level results to go to the Uni she wanted to but meeting someone very special at the one she did, being fire from a job that led her to create her own 'sell out' show, deciding last minute to go to a rehearsal she didn't want to... that changed everything!
