During the middle watch Jesus had been bound and more than likely beaten. They leave Jerusalem and make their way down into the Kidron Valley…they feel the air become cool as they descend. Beneath the valley is an active fault line. it will play a major role in the end times. They will ascend part of the way up the Mount of Olives where they will enter into the garden. Distant moisture from the Mediterranean mixes with the cool night air lower down the mountain and a fog begins to low to the ground. The full moon cast shadows in the Olive groves.
