The 9th Hour

Season 2, Ep. 13

It was approaching the 9th hour (3PM Jerusalem time, 8 AM EST) The skies are completely darkened and look ominous. In the Temple a lamb is about to be slaughtered for the sins of the Nation it will be signified by the blow of the Shofar.

At that moment Jesus cried out with a loud voice My God, My God, why have you forsaken me.”

The gospel of Luke records Jesus crying out: Father, into you hands I commit my spirit. After he said this he breathed his last.

Off in the distance the shofar was heard being blown.

SHOFAR SOUND - Begin EARTHQUAKE - Lightening

At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split 52 and the tombs broke open.

Ancient historians make note of an earthquake occurring…to this day NOAA historical earthquake data records an earthquake occurring in 33 AD about the time of the crucifixion.

  • 7. Middle Watch

    02:58||Season 2, Ep. 7
    Its well past midnight in Jerusalem for the Jews however there is no midnight. Its called the middle watch. The night hours are broken into four watches. Evening, Middle, cockcrow and morning. In the Old Testament the nights were broken up into three watches but the Romans are in charge now so that’s how its going to be. During the middle watch Jesus had been bound and more than likely beaten. According to the Gospel of John he is brought first to Annas who was the father-in-law of Caiaphas, the high priest that year. 14 Caiaphas was the one who had advised the Jewish leaders that it would be good if one man died for the people.

They leave Jerusalem and make their way down into the Kidron Valley…they feel the air become cool as they descend. Beneath the valley is an active fault line. it will play a major role in the end times. They will ascend part of the way up the Mount of Olives where they will enter into the garden. Distant moisture from the Mediterranean mixes with the cool night air lower down the mountain and a fog begins to low to the ground. The full moon cast shadows in the Olive groves. The Jewish Passover is always celebrated during a period of the full moon, sometimes called the Paschal full moon.

  • Palm Sunday (Prophetic Clock)

    09:04|
    It's been days since the day known as Palm Sunday has occurred. Talk in the streets in Jerusalem is still electric as the rumor has spread that the long awaited Messiah has arrived, that the freedom of Israel from the oppressor of Rome is imminent. The story is being told over and over and over to the few that did not witness it. To this day, few understand that Palm Sunday was a supernaturally choreographed event where each step was planned hundreds, if not thousands, of years earlier. There was nothing about that day that was a coincidence. And for many, there will be no excuse that they did not know what was happening.

  • Choose This Day Whom You Will Serve

    34:05|
    Unlike other elections in our nation's history, it appears that this election has placed our nation, we the people, and those who purport to be followers of Christ at a critical intersection. Will we heed the warning of the Bible echoed by our forefathers regarding what happens to a nation that rejects God, to those that reject Him personally, and those that follow Him tepidly? Both Moses and Joshua at critical intersections warned the people of Israel as well to choose between life and prosperity or death and destruction with these words, "choose this day whom you shall serve."Note: Soundtrack: Epic Adventure Cinematic | Epic Shield by Alex-Productions |Sources: Barna Group, First Liberty, Arizona Christian UniversityGot Questions, Christian Heritage, Teachings of Jack Hibbs, Cavalry Chapel, Chino Hills.Rules of Civility George Washington, John Adams, Samuel Adams, Benjamin Rush, Ben Franklin, John Hancock, Thomas Jefferson, Charles Carroll of Carrollton Other misc. sources.
