Something More
In every human soul whether we choose to acknowledge it or not, is a God-given awareness that there is “something more” than this transient world. And with that awareness of eternity comes a hope that we can one day find a fulfillment not found in the temporal.
Secondly installed deep into our souls is a compass that can distinguish between right and wrong and because of it as Paul tells us in Romans 1 “people will be without excuse.”
We will talk more about justice next time but for today think about this:
Before we can understand what it is that God wants from us , such as to act justly we must acknowledge that there is “something more” it’s the God given awareness that He made us for himself and our hearts will remain restless until they find rest in Him.
