The Magicians: Getting Good Ratings Is Murder v2
When stage magician–turned–coroner Dr Blake Alexander appears on The Crime Report, he expects a routine interview about criminal psychology. Instead, he accidentally walks straight into a murder mystery unfolding behind the cameras. Days later, beloved TV host Henry Jones is found brutally killed—his dressing room reduced to a crime scene so grisly even the Necromancer wouldn’t claim it.
Blake knows something is wrong. The victim doesn’t fit the Necromancer’s pattern, the evidence feels staged, and the killer seems disturbingly familiar. As Blake, the Enchanter, and the masked vigilantes of the city dig deeper, the truth begins to twist in on itself. Buckets materialise out of thin air, reapers walk the halls of the morgue, and a TV presenter with too much ambition and too little conscience starts to unravel.
When Blake finally confronts the murderer, the mask drops—literally and figuratively. A desperate man lunges with a knife, only to discover he’s attacking the Grim Reaper himself. Divine justice steps aside as mortal law takes over, and the truth behind the killing is exposed live, on air, for the world to see.
A supernatural crime thriller filled with dark humour, magical chaos, and razor‑sharp twists, The Magicians: Getting Good Ratings Is Murder explores what happens when fame, ego, and murder collide under studio lights.
Step into the investigation.
Nothing is what it seems—not even the coroner.
