Jojo Siwa is doubling down on the things that make us shudder the most, We give our recommendations of some upcoming summer treats, and discuss the new Tiana's Bayou Adventure ride at Disney. John discusses two of the latest movies in theatres in John's Movie Corner, and this season of Grey's Anatomy wrapped up with a dull whisper. We have arrived at the end of this iconic first season of AJLT. Completely bonkers, disjointed, and written with little recollection of the source material, but iconic nonetheless. We barely touch base with about four of our new main characters, yet Bobby freaking Lee gets a full story arc. We don’t even SEE Seema! It’s coming up on the one year anniversary of Big’s death, and Carrie is wondering what to do with his ashes while taking signs from a lamp that won’t stop flickering. Classic Big…Carrie’s happy, time to swoop in and shit all over it! Charlotte and Harry really hit a new low at allowing their child to just walk all over them when Rock decides they don’t want to identify as ANYTHING, even her own ethnicity. And the AJLT team somehow manages to find the one song ever that can make Sara Ramirez’s voice sound only “really good”. Miranda is on her way to L.A. with Che, and we have a feeling this will not be quite as fabulous as the L.A. episodes in the OG series. Happy Memorial Day to all! This week we celebrate the opening of Something About Her Sandwich Shop, The "Jo of it all" in the VPR universe, and the lawsuit between Rachel and Tom/Ariana (GO AWAY, RACHEL!). North West performed at the Hollywood Bowl and WE ARE BLAMING THE PARENTS. What a travesty. Mostly the costume. Grey's Anatomy continues to slog on, this week teaching us the lesson of organ donation, and John is SHOOK by the lines at In N' Out and how people need to learn that there are other people in this line besides them. This show keeps chugging along! This week the team over at AJLT headquarters has the audacity to introduce us to yet ANOTHER new character, this time being Carrie’s downstairs neighbor who we think is supposed to be a younger representation of Carrie? It’s hard to tell, because once again we are reminded of how important of a role Pat Field’s costumes played in the OG series (remember when Carrie wore a belt around her bare midriff?).
